Selection criteria
A selection committee has been named by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Award is made by this committee and includes representation of the departments of art, music, and theater.
How to apply
On the basis of faculty recommendations, the Chairperson of the Department of Art and Design submits names of candidates that are eligible for this scholarship to the Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in spring. No formal application process exists.

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Educational scholarship funds from grants are available for Jewish college and graduate students.
For full-time students, approximately $500,000 is available each year, predominantly those legally domiciled in the metropolitan Chicago area, who are identified as having promise for significant contributions in their chosen careers.
Those with financial needs who are pursuing careers in the helping professions have this scholarship primarily available for them.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be of Jewish citizenship.
They must have been born and brought up in the Chicago metropolitan area, including Lake County, Indiana; or must have spent one continuous year being fully employed in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment.
After completing school, applicants must intend to remain in the Chicago metropolitan area.
They must be entering an accredited graduate program in a helping profession. This is to be on a full-time basis for the full academic year.
On a full-time basis for the full academic year, applicants must be entering their junior or senior years of an accredited bachelor’s degree program in a helping profession.
They are to demonstrate financial need
Demonstration of career promise is required of students
There will be an in-person interview between March 1 and April 2 and applicants are to be available.

4. The AAF-Greater Evansville Scholarship Award
Yearly in the month of April, the AAF-Greater Evansville awards scholarships to deserving high school and/or college students. AAF-Greater Evansville has distributed over $153,000 in scholarship awards over the past 40 years.
To be eligible, students are mandated to plan to pursue a career in marketing, advertising, public relations, or graphic design. There’s variation in the application deadline annually but is typically in early April.

5. Silver Pen Writing Competition
The Silver Penn’s goal is to get young adults who have an interest in the process of aging so that a culture of mutual understanding and respect for the aged in society is fostered.
All high school seniors who have a minimum 3.0 GPA and live with 25-miles of one of the participating locations or attend one of the participating schools can apply for this competition:
The participating schools are Brightwater, Verdae, Cascades, Homestead Hills, The Lakes at Litchfield, Marsh’s Edge, Osprey Village, Ridgecrest, Summit Hills, The Stratford, Wellmore of Tega Cay. For this year, each community was permitted to select a topic of their own.

MetLife Foundation Scholarship is open to high school seniors pursuing a four-year degree in some select areas.
The select areas include agriculture, agribusiness management, communications, education, journalism, economics, extension, public relations, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, plant/animal breeding and genetics, technology, plant pathology, range/soil science, or public service and administration in agriculture.

7. Kosciusko County Community Foundation Scholarship
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Scholarship has nearly 100 scholarship funds available. It is from these funds that this foundation awarded more than $457,000 in scholarships.
As stipulated by this foundation, scholarships can be only used for tuition, academic fees, and books, but not for room and board.
Both traditional and non-traditional students can apply for this scholarship. Those who transit straight from high school to college or a vocational/technical program are referred to as Traditional students.

They are generally 23 years or older, but can be given a more narrow definition by specific scholarship funds.

As at the time of application, applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a higher education program for the upcoming academic year.

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago administers educational scholarship funds from grants and these funds are available for Jewish college students.
For this scholarship program, more than $500,000 is available each year for full-time students, predominantly those legally domiciled in the metropolitan Chicago area, who are having promise identification for significant contributions in their chosen careers.
For those in the helping professions, assistance is available for such fellows.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be Jewish citizens.
They are to be born and raised in the Chicago metropolitan area including Lake County, Indiana; or one continuous year of full-time employment in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment.
They are to have the Intention of remaining in the Chicago metro area after school.
Demonstration of financial need is required.
Demonstration of career promise is necessary.
Applicants should be available for an interview between March 1st and April 20th.
Applicants are to provide two professional/academic reference letters.

9. Indiana Sheriffs Association Scholarship
This scholarship fund was established for the purpose of receiving, investing, and dispensing funds to provide college scholarships to students who are qualified to be in receipt of it, who are committed to pursuing an education and career in the law enforcement field.

Only Indiana residents can apply for this scholarship.
