Admissions into the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2022
The BCIT offers admission into the following schools at the undergraduates level:

Undergraduate’s Eligibility criteria:
- Primarily, you must be done with the high school which is Grade 12 in Canada.
For degree courses as International students, 2 years diploma courses
- Work experience of 6 months in the specialized field for degree courses.
Full-time education (at least 2 years) taught in English from any English nation with at least English 12 prerequisites.
- English language proficiency test scores- ISEP, PELD, and PTE Academic or qualify TOEFL or IELTS.
- Previous certifications to be reviewed by International Credential Evaluation Service.
- Supporting documents – Letters of reference, Proof of Status in Canada (for foreign students).
- Official Transcripts – Previous courses, high school, and post-secondary or as required for the particular course.

Here it goes;
Average tuition cost per year for a two-year diploma program: CAD $13,500 – CAD $19,500.
Average tuition cost per year of a full-time degree program: CAD $16,500 – CAD $20,000.

Generally, International tuition fees for part-time studies courses are 3 times the published domestic rate. International tuition fees for distance & online learning courses are 1.25 times the published domestic rate.
British Columbia Institute of Technology Cost of living
BCIT usually proposes that incoming students have about CAD $1500 per month to pay all living expenses, with accommodation, transportation, food, entertainment, personal expenses, and miscellaneous costs.
Payment dates and additional information
Tuition fees for Technology programs are expected 60 days before the session commences while for Bachelor of Technology programs and Part-time Studies fees are payable on registration.

British Columbia Institute of Technology Scholarships, Awards, Bursaries and Loans
BCIT Technology scholarships vary from $100 to $3000 CDN and are conferred to Technology students with exceptional records in the first year of their program while offering a 100% course load. No application is necessary.
Awards from your home country
BCIT encourages International students to communicate with their government educational offices on scholarships and awards abroad.
In addition, international students may be considered for BCIT Awards, including the International Student Award which is a financial award given to the student with the highest GPA in the first year of their program while offering a full-time course load.
