Every year, Cornell University accepts several thousand new students as members of its incoming freshmen class regardless of race, religion, gender, or financial ability. First-year applicants who have recently completed high school or have graduated from high school but have earned fewer than 12 credits at a college or university must complete and send all the application items below.

International or domestic freshman applicants are required to submit either their SAT or all ACT scores. Cornell considers the highest section scores across test dates for the SAT while for the ACT test, the highest composite score across all ACT dates is considered.
