Postgraduate Admissions Process
Admissions into Harvard postgraduate studies require applicants to have or will have by the time of matriculation, a BA, BS, or equivalent undergraduate degree (for prospective international students, a three- or four-year undergraduate degree from an institution of recognized standing). Most especially, applicants underrepresented in graduate schools are historically accepted.
Applicants who hold a Ph.D. or its equivalent, or are an advanced doctoral candidate at another institution, may also apply to a Ph.D. program only if it is in an unrelated field of study.

Undergraduate courses

SAT or ACT with Writing, as well as two SAT Subject Tests are required by undergraduate applicants to study a course at Harvard University. Official test scores should be submitted directly to Harvard by the testing agency on the applicant’s behalf. If Harvard does not receive your official scores from the testing agency, they will be unable to make an admissions decision.
Despite that Harvard honors the College Board’s Score Choice program and allows applicants to submit tests taken as late as January for consideration, yet students are advised to be Regular Decision candidates by completing and submitting at least one component of the required tests (SAT or ACT with Writing or two College Board Subject Tests) by the end of November. This will allow them to begin their evaluation process for those submitting applications by December 15.
