The RBC Students Leading Change Scholarship was created to recognize the growing number of Canadian students who are passionate to invest in their education, and leading and inspiring positive change in their community. A total of fifteen (15) RBC Students Leading Change Scholarships worth $10,000 each are awarded by the RBC.
Seven of the scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in any year of post-secondary studies and eight scholarships awarded to graduating high school students. Applying students are also eligible for all 15 scholarships, but 3 scholarships per student category (a total of 6) are reserved exclusively for RBC Royal Bank student clients. 175 bursaries for $1,000 is also awarded to help Canadian post-secondary students.
Every year, RBC provides over $550,000 in scholarships, which include the RBC Students Leading Change Scholarships, RBC Aboriginal Student Awards Program, and Scholarship Program for the Children of RBC Employees.

RBC Students Leading Change Scholarships Award is worth $10,000 available for 15 lucky candidates.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the RBC scholarship in the fall of 2022, students will have to be attending a Canadian post-secondary institution and are eligible to apply. Students who fall into any of the 2 categories below are eligible to apply:
- 1st Category (Graduating High School or CEGEP): Any student currently enrolled in their graduating year in a Canadian High School or CEGEP, or have graduated from a Canadian High School or CEGEP within the last 2 years, and will be enrolled in their first year of a minimum 2-year undergraduate degree or diploma program on a full-time basis at a recognized publicly-funded Canadian university or college in the fall 2021 academic term.
- 2nd Category (Undergraduate or Graduate Degree or Diploma): Any student currently enrolled in a diploma program or degree on a full-time basis in a publicly-funded Canadian college or university and planning to continue full-time studies in fall 2021. Students must already have at least 2 years of full-time studies left in their degree or diploma program.
- Any student with a disability who attends or plans to attend post-secondary school on a part-time basis in fall 2022 is eligible.
Level/Field of Study
To qualify for the RBC scholarship, students must be an RBC Royal Bank client till the end of the winner announcement date. 7 scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in any year of post-secondary studies and 8 awarded to graduating high school students.

#5. The RBC Capital Markets Scholarship for Women
Eligibility: Female students in full-time undergraduate studies graduating in December 2022 or Spring 2023, currently enrolled in a business, engineering, or economics program at a university or college in Canada.
Application Opens: Friday, April 12, annually, and ends Friday, May 31, annually, 11:59 PM EST
Award: 4 awards worth $5,000 each AND a 2022 summer analyst position with RBC Capital Markets in Toronto.
#6. RBC Award
Eligibility: High School students in Grade 12 in Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan, Northern Ontario, and Manitoba, will be attending a Canadian post-secondary institution in fall 2022. Nominations are to be submitted by the high school Administration (e.g. Principal, Vice Principal, or Guidance Counselor).
Award: 175 bursaries for $1,000 each will be awarded to post-secondary students AND an opportunity for an RBC internship.
