About University of Kent

The University of Kent is an accredited and public, non-profit university, founded in 1965 and located in the City of Canterbury in the UK. It is one of the UK’s most popular universities.  It is also one of the best schools for aspiring undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students.

University of Kent Admission 2022

Admission into the University of Kent is based on merit. Yet, some departments may have their own specific requirements.

For full-time students, the University of Kent welcomes applicants after the main UCAS January 15 deadline and will accept applications for many courses until 30 June 2022.

To begin, you can apply via UCAS until 30 June, or via UCAS Extra if you have already made an application but aren’t holding any offers.

International students can apply through UCAS with the assistance of an authorized representative. 

Part-time students can also apply directly to the University, and not through UCAS.

The University of Kent accepts a wide range of qualifications, and they judge applications by students’ academic potential.

The minimum entry requirements for degree-level study are:

Entry requirements for African students:

In addition to the applicant’s proof of English language proficiency, applicants for undergraduate studies must have passed their SSCE in a minimum of five subjects. Applicants for postgraduate studies must have completed a four-year degree course with a good degree.

University of Kent Accommodation

The University of Kent offers school accommodations for her students at Canterbury and Medway.  At Canterbury, there are 5, 400 rooms of which 85% are self-catered and about 20% of the accommodation is priced under 4, 500 euros every year.

The Medway includes 1,100 rooms which can be applied for every year for the duration of the study.

Applications must be completed before the 31st of July every year to be offered a room.
