- The Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) Scholarship
Jindal School of Management offers scholarships to all graduate students.
This financial aid opportunity is only open to students who are coming into the school for graduate programs. It has a central system that makes it open to all students in graduate programs.
It is open to students that are just applying for admission and current students of the University of Texas. The awards are based on merit, and only those who are qualified for it will be given the honors.
While this scholarship opportunity is open to all graduate students, some courses are not eligible. Students studying the following courses can not apply, MS in Accounting Cohort, MS in Finance Cohort, MS in Business Analytics Cohort, MS in Financial Engineering and Risk Management, and any other Executive programs.

- Good Neighbor Scholarship
International students can apply for the Good Neighbor Scholarship (GNS). The application is registered online, and the one for 2022-2023 must have been received before February 15, 2022.
This is an annual scholarship opportunity for international students coming from eligible countries.
However, due to the recent pandemic (Covid-19) that has struck the world, the process and time for the scholarship have been reviewed.
Yeah, this is a scholarship opportunity for international students. However, not all countries are eligible for this offer. This offer is available to excellent students from the countries of the Western (American) hemisphere except for Cuba and the United States of America. It gives them the chance to pursue higher education in the state of Texas.
The University of Texas does this to ensure that a stable bilateral relationship is built and sustained between the state of Texas and the home country of the students.
The Good Neighbor Scholarship grant selected students a free tuition fee for 12-month. Meanwhile, it is worthy of knowing that the Good Neighbor Scholarship will not cover the student fees; they only take care of their tuition fee for one year.
However, other expenses like textbooks, student health insurance, and others will be taken care of by the student.
Requirements to be eligible for this scholarship:
- Applicants must have stayed in the Western (American) hemisphere for at least five years.
- Applicants must not be a member of the Communist Party
- Any applicants who have applied for American Permanent Residents Status are not allowed to apply
- Applicants who have dual citizenship that includes the United States of America are not welcomed to apply
- All applicants must be a native of one of the eligible countries.
- All applicants must have enrolled in the University of Texas when the scholarship is being awarded.
Applicants must have a statement on file with his or her institution that indicates the student is registered with the Selective Service System as required by federal law or is exempt from Selective Service registration under federal law.

Pilot Program for Enrolling Students from Mexico
This scholarship opportunity is only open to Mexican students. The pilot Program for Enrolling Students from Mexico doesn’t guarantee full tuition payment. It only allows selected students to pay the same tuition fee as the In-State students, i.e., students who are natives of Texas.
Requirements to be eligible for this Scholarship
- Applicants must be a citizen of Mexico
- Applicants must be able to show proof of financial needs
- All applicants for this scholarship must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Applicants must be willing to return to Mexico after the completion of their academic program.
- The applicant must have been given admission to study in a full-time program at the University of Texas.
Mexican Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) – UT Dallas Program
This scholarship program is targeted to provide financial aid to Mexican students who are coming to the University of Texas to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. in the field of Science and Technology.
The scholarship program is supported by CONACYT – UT Dallas. Any applicants that wish to apply for this offer must be able to meet the requirements that are needed to win the scholarship.
Requirements to be eligible for this Scholarship
- Interested Applicants must be a citizen of Mexico
- Applicants must have been enrolled to study as a full-time student for a graduate degree program at the University
- The Applicants must be able to satisfy all the requirements of the CONACYT – UT Dallas scholarship.
This program is available for all international students. This is due to the inability of the University to provide scholarship opportunity to students from a different race, they offer a loan program which is facilitated by the office of the Financial Aid at the University of Texas
