Eligibility of the Université de Montréal scholarship program
Here are the applicants’ requirements for the scholarship:
- You have to hold a study permit and must be neither permanent resident nor Canadian citizen.
- Must be enrolled full-time in a study program throughout your studies.
- You must not benefit from another form of tuition fee exemption through another policy or measure. For example, French and Belgian Francophone students already benefit from this type of exemption.
- Your academic records must be strong.

Université de Montréal Tuition Scholarship: UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
The scholarships are awarded at different amounts and they are at the following levels:
- Level 1: $11,998 for each year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $5,999 for each session (15 credits) or $399 for each credit
- Level 2: $5,718 for each year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $2,859 for each session (15 credits) or $190.60 for each credit
- Level 3: $2,000 for each year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $1,000 for each session (15 credits) or $66.67 for each credit
Different amounts for the Undergraduate scholarship illustrated above are applied to the tuition fee of $23,662 for each year (30 credits)
Université de Montréal Tuition Scholarship: GRADUATE PROGRAMS – MASTERS
As an international student in graduate studies is opportune to receive a partial exemption scholarship from the additional tuition fees normally charged to international students.
Here is the worth of the scholarship:
- $9,420 for each year (3 sessions, equivalent to 45 credits) or $3,140 for each session (equivalent to 15 credits)
Various amounts for the Master’s scholarship explained above are applied to the tuition fee of $27,300 for each year (45 credits)
Université de Montréal Tuition Scholarship: GRADUATE PROGRAMS – P.H.D
