Undergraduate Admission Process.
There are steps and guidelines that you must follow for admittance to the university. These are listed below;
Application:
Prospective undergraduate students need to apply to the university as applicants.
Application fee:
The University charges a token amount of $50 for domestic applicants i. e applicants within the country and an amount of $70 for international applicants.
Essays:
As part of the admission process, you need to write and submit two separate essays. They include a complete personal essay and a writing supplement.
Personal essay:
This is a complete personal essay, which is usually 200-650 words long. The essays can be about some of the subjects below:
(I). A background identity, interest, or talent that is so peculiar to you in which you feel your application would be incomplete, if not stated.
(II). The lessons you learn from the many obstacles you have encountered and how they have made you a better person.
(III). Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or an idea.
(IV). Describe a problem you have solved or would like to solve.
(V). Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging and fascinating.
(VI). Discuss an accomplishment or event that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself and others
You can also choose any topic of your choice which you can write about.
Writing Supplements:
This is also 250-650 words long. Pick one of your unique identities and describe its significance and what it means to you.
Letter of Recommendation:
This document is essential for admission. Include your full name at the top of the letter.
High School or Secondary School transcripts:
The transcripts must be official and submitted directly to the University of Colorado Boulder from the issuing institution. Transcripts can be mailed or sent to transcripts@colorado.edu.
SAT or ACT scores:
Official SAT or ACT scores are a requirement for all US citizens. If you are not a US citizen, test scores are a requirement for a merit-based scholarship.

Post Graduate Admission Process.
You are considered a graduate student if you have earned a bachelor’s degree or are pursuing an advanced degree in a specific field. An undergraduate must satisfy all of the conditions below to be considered for admission into the University of Colorado Boulder.
– Students must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university or should have done work equivalent to that of the required degree
– He/she must show promise of ability for further study in his/her chosen field.
– Students must have adequate preparations to enter graduate study in his/her chosen field. He/she must have at least a 2.75 undergraduate grade point average.
– Applicants for programs in the college of engineering and applied science must have a 3.00 undergraduate grade point average.
Note: Applicants who cannot meet these undergraduate standards may still secure regular admission if;
They have completed semester hours of relevant graduate coursework with at least a 3.25-grade point average.
