Direct Entry Level

This is for current High school students who have already graduated from High School but who have completed less than 24 credit hours [four full courses] at an accredited university or college. However, admission to certain direct entry program options is highly competitive.

This option is for students who have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours of university-level of study. Specific requirements for each program option vary and may require additional credit hours for an undergraduate degree in order to be eligible.

To be admitted into the University of Manitoba requires successful completion of both general admission requirements that apply to all applicants, as well as program-specific requirements that depend on where you are applying from and what program[s] you are applying to.

What GPA do you need to get into the University?

3.0 All applicants require a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 (B) or equivalent in their last 60 credit hours of study. In general, this is equivalent to 4 semesters of study or 2 years of study. This will depend on the education system of the university issuing the transcripts.
