Requirements/Eligibility

Requirements for University of Oulu Masters Scholarships for International Students differ from the Bachelors’ scholarship. However, it all depends on how many impressions you create in your application.

• Applicants are eligible to apply for a University of Oulu Scholarship if they meet the admissions criteria and are liable to pay the tuition fee.
• The Scholarship is renewable.
• Selection is based mainly on academic performance. Therefore, Applicants must be of sound academic records.
• Additionally, close attention is also paid to one’s academic background.
• Open for only non-EEA/EU students.

Scholarship Worth

The scholarships will be granted in the form of a tuition fee waiver covering 50% or 75% or 100% of the tuition fee.

50% Tuition Fee Scholarships are for the 2-year International Master’s Programme under the Oulu Business School except for the Master’s Programme in Business Analytics where 100% of the tuition fees can be covered.

75% Tuition Fee Scholarships are meant for the 2-year International Master’s Programmes not under the Oulu Business School and the 5-year International Bachelor’s Programmes.

In order to retain the scholarship in the following year of study, a student must have completed 60 ECTS by the end of the previous academic year.

Applications for the International Scholarship are submitted together with the application for the preferred study option. The application period for the University of Oulu International Master’s Scholarships is 20 January 2022 (15.00 GMT +2)
