Starting from Fall 2022: All international students will pay tuition based on a minimum of 12 credits per term (for fall and winter semesters only). Most of the programs require students to enroll in more than 12 credits for consistent progress in their program and for study permit compliance. Students that registered for more than 12 credits will be charged $630 per additional credit.

During the summer, UFV offers some selected courses and all international students pay per credit.

Eligibility requirements:

The scholarship offer is available to outstanding international candidates who apply to study at UFV in their graduating year or have recently graduated with a minimum overall GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.5.

Application details

The application form must be received at the UFV International office by the scholarship deadline. Qualified candidates must complete the International Excellence Entrance Scholarship Application Form and must be submitted with two letters of recommendation from current teachers and proof of extracurricular activities or a co-curricular record to international@ufv.ca. Recipients of the award will be notified by the end of April.

Scholarship award: Up to $ 545,949

  • British Columbia High School Entrance Scholarship Study level

Type: Undergraduate

Eligibility requirements:

This scholarship is available to top international high school applicants studying in British Columbia or at a British Columbia off-shore high school who apply to UFV in their graduating year with a bare minimum GPA of 3.0 on all grade 12 courses (minimum three grade 12 academic courses required).

Admissible criteria: All eligible international applicants who apply to UFV are considered automatically. No separate application is necessary. Only qualified candidates who have submitted a completed application like the application fee, official proof of English language proficiency, and official high school transcripts by the scholarship deadline will be considered.

Scholarship award: $272,975

International Regional Entrance Scholarship Study level

Type: Undergraduate

Eligibility requirements: The scholarship offer is available to outstanding international applicants who apply to UFV in their graduating year or have recently graduated with a minimum overall GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.0.

Admissible criteria: All eligible international applicants who apply to UFV are considered automatically. No separate application is necessary. Only qualified applicants who have submitted a completed application (application fee, official proof of English language proficiency, and official transcripts) by the scholarship deadline will be considered.
