University of York Accommodation

Accommodation is available for international students provided that they apply by the deadline provided for a full course duration accommodation made for them.

All accommodation on the campus is on or within walking distance of the main campus so it is easy in meeting with students from all departments. 4000 rooms are available in total and each college has its accommodation. Options for catering are available on both campuses and most rooms are en suite.

The library includes the JB Morrell Library, The Library Café, Harry Fairhurst Building, Raymond Burton Library, King’s Manor Library York Minster Library, and Borthwick Institute for Archives. The library has several collections and resources one can benefit from.

78.5% of York’s applicants are offered admission by this York which is the joint 15th lowest amongst the Russell Group. The applications for every undergraduate place say 6.2, and a completion rate of 93.2% with around 80% of graduates graduating with a First/2:1 degree.

University of York Tuition

For Tuition fee payments, an invoice is sent to those responsible for paying your tuition fees via their University e: Vision account and they will be notified via their University of York email account.

One can pay in installments depending on the amount, duration of your studies, and whether you have a history of late payments. There’s no need for any arrangement with the Fees Office as this is an automatic process.

The cost can be paid by making monthly payments in advance of the due dates of the installment due dates by standing order from a UK bank account or regular one-off payments or a Uk bank account.

Payment cannot be made monthly by direct debit as there is no facility for that in place. For those making payments by installments, they are to be aware that they will not receive a reminder before the installment dates.

The University reserves the right to give in to the refusal of this concession to students with a late payment history and is also in the reservation of the right to amend the installment concession arrangements offered for any future academic year. In advance, any changes will be published.

University of York Scholarship

The University of York Opportunity Awards 2021 is open to aspiring York students as well as students who’ve overcome significant barriers to actualizing their educational goals. The scholarship deals with subject-specific awards.
