For engineering applicants, one must come from a math or science teacher. 

An $85 nonrefundable fee is required as part of an application to Columbia University. We are unable to refund the application fee under any circumstances.

Postgraduate 

All prospective students must apply using the online application. To be eligible for admission, applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university by the date on which they enroll at the Columbia Graduate School.

Department, doctoral program subcommittee, or free-standing master’s degree program in which you wish to study must be specified in your application. If required, the sub-field of study and the term for which you are applying must be indicated. A complete application includes:

#1. Interschool Fellowships

These interschool fellowships are need-based awards that are not restricted to students in one Columbia school or college. This scholarship is available to graduate or undergraduate students and aims to benefit the children, adopted children, and step-children of the employees of Boston-based Houghton-Mifflin Company, its subsidiaries, or successor companies. The minimum amount is $1,000 for a school year and increases according to the needs of the candidate.
